Frankly, I’m not sure what to call this niche. “The world is hell, but nevertheless we are deeply unserious?” “The chronicles of surviving a world dominated by men?” “I’m an expert on nothing, but I have thoughts about all of it?”
Ah, I know: If you get it, you get it. And you’re safe here. If you don’t, I can’t explain it to you.
Backstory
I started creating content on TikTok and Instagram in 2021 after having a baby as a result of an assault. I was a new mother trying to make sense of something unimaginable, and I had absolutely nowhere to put everything I was feeling. So, like any well-adjusted millennial, I started venting on the internet.
Five years later, I’ve now built an entire online presence around surviving increasingly ridiculous circumstances, having very strong opinions, and occasionally making strangers laugh at things that probably shouldn’t be funny. I’ve spent those years learning how to be a mother, how to advocate for others, how to heal, and how to stop repeating the patterns I grew up with. (I’m still figuring most of that out. I’m just a person.)
But since I was a little girl, I’ve wanted to write. I want to write books. I want to tell stories. I want to stand in front of a room full of people and have something worth saying. t’s taken me years to actually stand on that dream and make it happen.
This website is where I’m finally putting my writing into the world. I’m finally sharing the essays, the stories, the uncomfortable conversations, the things that make me laugh, and the things that keep me awake at night.
Thank you for reading.
